Lakeview Health Systems has received national recognition as one of the premier dual diagnosis treatment programs in the country. As such, patients access dual diagnosis treatment with us from all parts of the United States. We understand this is a time filled with stress and confusion and coordinating travel arrangements can prove more difficult than usual. Our admission staff deals with these issues ever day, so please let us be of assistance. We are accustomed to searching out the lowest rates and most direct routes. You can call our addiction helpline NOW at 1-800-231-2950 and one of our counselors will be there to assist you.
If you have chosen to travel by air, you will be arriving in the Jacksonville International Airport, located just twenty minutes from our dual diagnosis treatment facility in Jacksonville, Florida. Upon arrival, there will be someone there to meet you and escort you directly to our addiction treatment center. There are no stops in between, so if there is anything you have forgotten you can make arrangements once you have arrived at Lakeview. You will be encouraged to call your loved ones to let them know you have arrived safely and let them know what you need. When the time comes for you to discharge from our addiction treatment center, transportation will be provided for you directly to the airport.
Let us first say we try and discourage people from driving their car to our addiction treatment facility. We would rather someone else drive you or allow us to arrange transportation. If you are inclined to drive and leave your automobile at our drug addiction treatment facility, there is ample parking, but we take no responsibility for your vehicle. Upon your arrival we will ask for your keys and with your permission check the automobile for drugs, alcohol, weapons or any type of paraphernalia that could prove harmful to you or other patients. Patient safety is a very high priority for us.
We encourage family members and significant others to visit with you while you are in our dual diagnosis treatment center. All visitations must be approved by your primary therapist who will be more than happy to help coordinate the visit. If a family member requires assistance with lodging, the admission coordinators will provide them with names of hotels that are close to the dual diagnosis treatment center where our families can take advantage of discounted rates made available to us. Don’t wait and call our addiction helpline NOW at 1-800-231-2950, to schedule your admission. You have waited long enough! |
